A 6-part course to improve your ability to get others on board with change, decisions, and direction. Course participants will:

  • Identify the difference between buy-in and compliance and what builds buy-in
  • Learn to build understanding and trust that leads to buy-in
  • Learn to listen for others' goals, concerns and priorities
  • Learn to manage personal assumptions
  • Learn to redirect conversations that go "off the rails."
  • Use change management principles to enroll others in new initiatives

What Will Be Taught?

Getting others to buy in to our ideas (or the company’s new initiatives) can be a taxing rollercoaster ride. Many of us rely on the art of persuasion, only to find mistrust, questioned motives and resistance. When we instead apply the art of Curiosity we can find common ground that helps others more easily get on board with a new direction. This course will teach you to approach influence from a whole new angle—one that gets others’ buy-in far more easily.
